Not sure if any of you are aware of how things are in this country, but you CAN'T put someone in a mental institution if they are an adult and don't think they need it.

They have to do something illegal, first, in order for the courts to send them there.

You HAVE to call the police and get them involved if you want to help them.

You don't have to do anything illegal,, I've been there on 51/50s and 52/50s,, it's up to the EMTs or cops,, if they find you that you might need to go there they can send you there for a 3 day evaluation.. If you're fine the doctors can release you,, if not you have to stay there for a few more weeks till they can get you on your meds.. It has nothing to do with the courts,, courts are for crimes not mental health

My question for yall is what can be done to make police respect our lives? I don't think there is a nonviolent solution to this problem of them killing black men, women and children. This problem is very old.
