Hate to break it to you but CONCACAF teams are two levels below CONMEBOL teams. Jesse Marsch can scream all he wants, a jalopy can't compete with a Ferrari.

The US has the most skilled players in CONCACAF but they're managed by a retard who couldn't maximize their potential. Marsch on the other hand has Canada playing way up their potential. If Canada had skilled players some of those chances would have been goals. If the US were run by smarter people they would have hired Marsch instead of Berhalter. At least the US have forwards who have enough skill to score.

Canada looks athletic and well coached. They just don’t seem to have the same innate skill, which I guess isn’t surprising

The final third is the biggest difference. Argentina more precise with their passes and movement. Canada with the MLS level skill and execution in the final third.

Argentina has more experience, better team chemistry, more championship pedigree, creates more dangerous scoring chance, and has better ball movement/execution/finishing skill. Canada is athletic, talented enough, well coached/prepared, sound defensively, works hard and makes the right plays and passes but can’t finish offensively. We need more talent- two more elite forwards with speed and elite finishing skill.

Argentina seems to find the open striker easier with precise and accurate passes. On defense they block the passing lanes, block our shots, they attack and hound the ball carrier and aren’t giving canadian players time and space to make offensive plays. Their defense is literally a human Traffic/wall. They are more opportunistic, they make the most of their offensive possessions.
