I stopped fukking with cnn, msnbc, Fox News a long time ago, after I realized how they function. They're in the business of keeping you watching, so they do this by sensationalizing things, but never truly divulging into real information....
Anyways...from all the coverage I've seen this weekend, there have been some very Hard hitting questions that journalists have thrown at politicians and authority figures, the problem is they keep scapegoating the elephant in the room which is, there is police misconduct and it does go largely unchecked in this country.
This morning cnn had a segment with Jeh Johnson, and they asked him specific questions where he had a moment to denounce police brutality, when asked About his encounters with the police while growing up as an African American, and sure enough he scapegoated the questions..
In conclusion this is certainly the stage for people in power to admit to the double standard of policing when encountering African Americans, yet no one is stepping up to the plate, or if they do they're admitting it subliminally in a nonchalant manner like its no big deal.
