Idk if I prefer Austin starting or having him come off the bench and be in full control. Starting him limits him to be a catch and shoot guy rather than be able to create his own and make plays which he is capable of

He should come off the bench and take Russ' role. Play him 30+ MPG as the 6th man.

If AD can give us an all-star-level performance in the 2nd half I think the Lakers can win this game.....Most of the teams favored today seem to be in a post-trade deadline daze.

It's low volume but players will actually have to think about guarding him, while Vanderbilt's man is going to play completely off of him.
I don’t think so …Mo isn’t putting fear in anyones heart with that volume and we’ve yet to see him hit big shots on any level to drag defenders away from the primary threat especially in high leverage situations …I understand the theory you’re expressing but I’d roll my help off of him all day and dare him to beat me..he wouldn’t keep me at home :yeshrug:
I'm not saying Bamba is an objectively better option, I just think it will be situations. If Bamba and AD can fit together defensively well then I could easily see a scenario where Bamba becomes the starter.
I like Bamba I just think he’s going to need to take his game to the next level to be a factor in LA especially defensively and his rebounding …I would have liked to see him somewhere where he could have been really showcased more like a Mia or Toronto
One man's recklessness is another man's energy.....

Lakers' offensive rating is 6 worse than their opponent with Walker on and 2 better than the opponent with Walker off.
Lakers' offensive rating is 2 better than their opponent with Reaves on and 4 worse with Reaves off.
I would need to dig deeper into the context around those numbers what his pairings look like situations etc etc …With the trades tho I want to see his on/off numbers with these new pieces that actually form a coherent roster ..but to my eye Lonnie’s play hasn’t been hurting the team …but again ..I like Reaves for a reason ..he’s a good player and you could very well go with him as a starter
And in case you just think that's from playing with Bron....4 of the 5 most-used lineups that have both Bron and Walker in them have been net negatives this year.
See above
