Of course, the players aren't going to miraculously become better 3-pt shooters if Westbrook is removed from the equation. But the looks they generate from behind the arc, the confidence in taking those shots and the momentum they build and capitalize off making them will be far greater, only naturally, because that dark cloud that is Westbrook will be no longer hanging over them.

Because the worst part about him isn't even his direct play, but it's the effect it's having on the team, as a whole. All that blame you think will go to the next man once he's gone will only be a distant whisper of criticism, in relation.

You doing too much, the reason for the shots on offense is because the spacing is now FUKD with Russ on the floor and they have Nurkic on him while he's also just sitting in the paint. It's basically 4v5 on offense to where you're not gonna get good looks at the rim with him on the floor in crunch time
