Bron playing like this, healthy AD playing like he was before he got hurt, and a couple pieces would beat the fukk out of a lot of good teams.

Basically, they just need to trade for guys who won't be turnstiles on defense, have 2-3 players hit their shots, and Bron/AD will do the rest. Biggest issue with that scenario isn't the lack of talent, it's the unlikely scenario that Bron/AD are both 100% when the playoffs start AND the Lakers front office actually goes all-in on the right trades.

Right I think snagging a guy such as Jalen McDaniels is a MUST. He's a big wing that would have a big impact on this team.

Then if they could also get Mo Bamba via trade that would be great.

Neither Should require a first round pick but you never know.

Agreed. The Lakers can probably get at least 3 draft picks for him from some naive team. So the team's future draft prospects wouldnt be completely fukked for a decade. Then sign players and build a team around Lebron this summer. Hopefully Kyrie still wants to come to LA but it's looking less likely with how good the Nets are right now.

That's worst case scenario. Best case is he doesn't get injured again, picks right back up with his MVP caliber peformances with LA entering the playoffs as 3rd or 4th seed. And make an unexpectedly deep run.

We'll probably land somewhere in the middle though. the bone spur is still there so AD will probably be on some Kawhi type load management. His injury was a stress reaction so overuse is the enemy for those
The Jazz got 5 first round picks, a swap and Vanderbilt for Gobert...

Probably like 9 games until that happens. Lakers need a win streak during this time period. The team is running out of time to get in the playoff picture
Getting to .500 would be a great help
I don’t think any team is in rush right now, just the reality. It’s a two way street, Detroit, whoever will take till the last min to make trades unless you are ready to overpay. Even Cam Reddish is getting interest by multiple teams. Knicks will trade to the highest bidder.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we make zero moves because every rumor/report says they are fine with not trading

Crazy...With all of the Lakers' issues, they're just 2 games behind 5th place in the loss column...Had LA made the Turner/Hield trade during the offseason LA would easily be the 3rd seed right now even without AD.......With the way Lebron/AD have played this season, how do you not make a move?

As for the Kings game tonight........Bryant/Schroder are long overdue...They need to have good offensive performances.

Good job extending the lead with Lebron (and Fox) on the bench.
