That's what Jeanie said....why? Because he actually plays the majority of the season. Building around injury prone Lebron and Street Clothes get's you exactly where you are now. Trading one of them, ESPECIALLY AD before his inevitable break down gets you shooting and benefits Russ and Bron
when he actually plays.
When I say he's the "best player" I mean he would be the best team componet to focus on in the now as there is very little risk. If he shyts the bed, he's gone. If he thrives (with the same type of players Lebron needs), he has incentive to re-sign and for much cheaper as you retool.
I'd rather keep that on an expiring contract than a Fragile AD or an aging Lebron, if I'm in the situation the Lakers have been in since last season.
