I don't want to write Dennis off just yet. I think part of his struggles is do to how the roster is constructed. Dennis' usage rate is the lowest of his career. Hard to get off when Lebron, AD, and Russ are dominating the ball...I think if Russ was traded Dennis' play would greatly improve.

Theres hundreds of guys in the league who would look better if they had more usage. Doesn't matter, because there's people on their team better than them. Which means to win, the ball should be in better players hands.

What makes a good role player is that they do their job without a high usage rate.

Reaves on the bench honestly helps that unit tremendously. We need his production where it's needed most.

Looks like Max Christie has jumped over Nunn once again, he's already had some miscommunication/sloppy plays early but it's early

What also makes a good role player is taking advantage of their strengths...Dennis isn't a spot-up shooter. He is a scorer/Driver....Hard for him to do any driving if he doesn't have the opportunity....Dennis had a very good season in his first stint with the Lakers. Is he really washed at only 29 yrs old?
