Who are the best players so far in this series for both teams
It's a good thing that basketball is a team sport and not 1v1 or 2v2 huh.

You'd have a point if the teams are pretty evenly matched, but the numbers and eye test are screaming that DLO can't be on the floor and he still is.

You're not that big of an idiot

I'm upset because I felt Lakers really could have taken this game, but once I saw Ham start D'lo in the second half, I knew it was over. I was already prepared for this.

When we didn’t take game 2 that was it for me. It felt inevitable and it’s proving to be so.

Could they? Sure, will they….that answer was no after game 2.

DLo is not getting flipped for Kyrie. He's beyond horrendous, no one wants him and he's a UFA.

We don't have the cap space for him either

Can y'all just stop this mess?

If Kyrie wanted to be a Laker, he would have to take a massive paycut or have Mark Cuban who notoriously hates us play ball. Give up this pipe dream.

Trading AD or LeBron is just as much of a pipe dream. If nothing else Jeanie is cheap and LeBron is still a draw and AD is here unless he asks out.:yeshrug:

Its really over….

They gave all they had against Golden State and Russell, Walker, and Schroeder have now all come back to earth. Reaves is the only role player REALLY playing like he’s still got oil in the engine and Rui is giving it the ole college try but this is the end of the road for this season.

Three things i’d recommend in the offseason

Find a way to resign Reaves

Do NOT resign Russell under any circumstances

Do NOT do something wacky and crazy to sign Kyrie Irving.

Yea, he's the one costing us the series, not the guy who you said was a top 10 player and your charts told us he was right there with Jimmy right? Beyond shameless at this point. Jamal Murray dropping 40's and putting the team on his back and you're blaming DLo. 1 30 pt game in 15 tries. Lie to yourself, not to us. At least in 2011, I had enough sense to blame Bean when we lost to the Mavs and not Lamar Odom :mjlol:

Bron is basically even +/- for the series despite starting alongside D-Lo who is a fukking -55. Lakers are ahead every game in the minutes where D-Lo ain't on the court.

Yes, Bron is 38 and doesn't have 40-point triple doubles in him anymore. He's still playing very well on both ends. Comparing him to a 32yo Kobe who played like dogshyt on both ends in 2011 is disingenuous as hell.

We need to recoup those draft picks. Best bet is trading both AD and Bron. We aren't winning a championship with either. See if there is a sign and trade for D'lo out there. We need to re-sign both Reaves and Rui. Those are two assets we can't afford to lose. Ham needs to be fired. As bad as we played we would have at least one win if we had a semi-competent coach.

Pre-foot injury, I would like the Lakers in this matchup. They need a big time series from LeBron. AD's gonna have his hands full with Jokic.

Their best bet might be to involve AD heavily in the offense in the first and try to get Jokic in foul trouble. Even if AD has big starts, Jokic is a machine. Regardless of how much they try to work him defensively, he's gonna wind up averaging 30/13/10 in this series and probably wear AD down to some extent.

Murray is probably the most important defensive assignment. If they can keep him under control; say 20 ppg or lower on so-so shooting, they'll have a good chance to pull the upset.

I don't think Denver is gonna shoot like they have in the first two rounds. The Lakers are gonna wear them down as well. LA has more offensive weapons than Minny or Phoenix. LeBron will get mismatches and bruise some people; AD will have a few games on fire; Reaves is gonna make KCP/Murray work; DLo will (hopefully) have a couple games where he gets hot; Dennis tends to have a couple each series as does Rui. Denver's guys won't just be coasting defensively with fresh legs for spot-up threes. Those percentages should come down.

I wouldn't bet on the Lakers because Denver looks like the most complete team with the best player in the game to this point of the postseason. They have a puncher's chance though and their resiliency/competitive spirit will have them in the mix no matter what.

This has been a great ride so far. I hope it doesn't end here.

@Regular_P Ultimately Jamal Murray averaging 35 is something we could not have expected :francis:

I said keeping him under control was the key to the series. :francis:
