This game went pretty much like I said it would. Those Nuggets can hit shots like nobody's business. LA did great to make it as close as they did in the end.

And like I said, the problem for the Lakers is they just don't have the guys to take advantage of Denver's soft defense. Only 4 players in double figures is not it. Bron has to put up 30-40 cause you can't trust the role players to come through.


I didn't see that rebounding issue coming, that hurt then bad. LeBron had 12 boards and the entire rest of the team had just 18. Bron had 3 offensive rebounds and entire rest of the team had just 2. WTF???

Bron neutralized MPJ in the 4th. He was on him right and had him not wanting to take contested shots. I thought DS actually did a really good job on Murray it was just the decision to go under on screens by the coaching staff then having Murray go crazy from the field.

The thing that can't happen was Brown and KCP both going crazy from the field.

That's the part that the coaching staff gotta get on the bench players/guards about

Its why I think LeBron didnt shoot enough that first half. Too reliant on DLO and others to make shots when he had the advantage.

Also while I dont think KCP is scoring 20+ again (hopefully not). Lakers may be reliant on Reaves needing to score 18 to 21. Again I think Bron needs to have a 30 to 35 point mindset. Seems like this is the kinda series where he might can average 30 like he use too.

Like I said before the series, their options are limited when they only play 6 guys. Lakers aren't stressing Jeff Green minutes. The lineup you posted is their best IMO, but that means the Lakers can try multiple ways to exploit it and Denver won't necessarily have other counters.

Gotta have an even quicker trigger pulling D-Lo. I said before this is a bad series for him defensively. If he not hitting shots then he can't be out there.

I think AD had a better game than Joker, bcuz of his defense. Jokic gets a lot of old Kevin Love rebounds. AD is the Lakers only true rebounders.

Its not a good take. However, in terms of Gamescore

Jokic had a 39.8
AD had a 38.2

He played at an incredible level as well, but it really wasnt cause of defense.

Murray slighty outplaying LeBron was the difference imo. Now I think the Lakers did some dumb things to allow that, but Bron has to take more paint shots.
