Lonnie gonna treasure that for the rest of his life.

Think of how sick that would feel. I know a lot of NBA ballers are cocky as hell and think they're a superstar even if they're not, but having the greatest shooter in history sign that shyt acknowledging that you shot his squad out of the game....he could be waived and be out of the league next year and he'd still have that jersey for the rest of his life.

On April 30, 2008, the Cleveland Cavaliers came home for Game 5 with a 3-1 lead over the Washington Wizards. LeBron put up 32-10-7 but shot poorly and missed a game-winner at the buzzer. They finished off the Wizards in the next game. That was the last time Bron lost a closeout game at home.

Since then he's gone 16-0 in home closeout games. So for the last FIFTEEN STRAIGHT YEARS, every team facing elimination on the road against Bron has lost. Every. Single. Time.

Returning to 2008, in the very next series the trio of LeBron-Zydrunas-Delonte took the trio of Pierce-Garnett-Ray to 7 games. In Game 7, Bron put up 45-5-6 but came up just short, and the Celtics went on to win the title. That was the last time Bron has lost any series where he reached 3 wins.

Since 2008, Bron's teams have won 36 consecutive series after reaching 3 wins. They have gone 36-8 in elimination games (16-0 at home, 16-7 on the road, and 4-1 in the bubble), including 8-0 in the second game after losing the first try at elimination. They have gone 6-0 in Game 7s during that span, beating the 2012 Celtics, 2013 Pacers, 2013 Spurs, 2016 Warriors, 2018 Pacers, and 2018 Celtics.

Just ran into those numbers and thought they were ridiculous. Even if the elimination game streak is broken this postseason, that's a wild fukking run of taking it to the opponent.

Jayson Tatum.
Passed up by the Lakers. Grew up a hardcore Kobe stan, whose uncle Larry Hughes helped introduce him to Bron (lost a ECF to him as well) vs the Lakers in the finals :patrice:

Silver bout to put in that call for a Lakers vs Celtics finals. :lupe:

Embidd was the last big left in east that could trouble AD. Ad should feast if we make it to finals. And we hung with Boston both games with our shyt team so they don’t scare me

Yeah, weirdly Boston is a better team than Philly but the sixers are a worse matchup for the lakers

The Nuggets are the toughest matchup left honestly
