I think this is a good series for Rui to start. Unless Jokic gonna somehow take advantage of his lack of off-ball awareness.


Question is how early D-Lo gets pulled for Schroeder if Murray starts going off.

Here's another question - with no backup for AD, who goes in to cover Jokic when AD goes out? Is it Gabriel, TT, Bron, Rui, or Vando?

it will be interesting to see how ham handles him this series …. against the warriors you can kind of get away with switching AD on to Curry because Looney or Dray won’t really take advantage of Dennis or AR switching on to them but in this series you might need to have either Rui or Vando out there to switch onto Jokic because he’ll definitely be looking to score


Also if AD gets in foul trouble during this series it will be interesting to see what Ham does as well like @Rhakim said …do they dust off TT do they go Mo ..idk

I’ll be interested in seeing how well Jokic does with avoiding foul trouble this series too …if I remember correctly during the bubble series that was one of the big storylines during that matchup … Joker was really struggling staying on the floor with the way the Lakers were attacking him … and the nuggets don’t have much behind him as an option so he has to stay away from cheap fouls this time around

I missed both Phoenix wins against Denver. With the exception of Booker going off, did anyone notice any particular thing that worked really well against Denver in those games?

I think we benefited playing GS rather than Sac. GS forced us to make a bunch of tactical changes within the game and between games to match wits with the defending 4x champs. Sacramento would have been an uneventful 4 or 5 game massacre that told us nothing.
