I bet kerr runs the game 4 tactic back. They were one possession away from a win on the road.

Lakers will hopefully have counters to the Warriors strategy of involving AD in the ball-screen.

When two non-shooters are on the floor they can pre-rotate to keep AD in the paint. Would be complex and hard to implement on a short turnaround but probably the best method.

When there are no non-shooters except for the screen man you can also pre-rotate but its a lot riskier. So they may just keep him on Wiggins, who is the least capable roll man of all the Warriors frontcourt players.

I’m like Jerry West, on the HBO series Showtime “I turn the game off” start pacing around the house, randomly turn it back on, pace around, my wife ask “why am I being ridiculous”, then I look up we pull a win off. That happen with wach close one this playoffs.

What I’m interested to see is whether or not Game 4 has demoralized the Warriors. They fought tooth and nail for that game and lost. I’d say had they won one of those closer games we’d be in for more of a dogfight but they didn’t. So I’m curious to see where their confidence is at now.

I think we’re all assuming (a safe assumption imo) that the Warriors will have the heart of a champion and steal a game tonight in an attempt to claw back. But whose to say this isn’t like any of the situations we’ve seen the Lakers in in the past where on paper they should win but those intangible ingredients aren’t there.

It’s going to be an interesting game tonight.

I definitely be pacing around like a coach on the sideline….:russ:

Celtics gave them trouble last year and our roster top to bottom is superior to the celtics from last year. I think the league doesnt know how to deal with AD. You can gameplan for Tatum,Brown and Ja Morant . How do you gameplan for AD? Lmao hes a generational talent when it comes to paint defense and damn good as a perimeter player. When he shows up theres nothing the warriors can do and Kerr knows this.

They either hope he gets injured or if he shows up disinterested :manny:

Game 5 will be a different proposition to Game 2. If you have a chance to eliminate the dynastic Warriors you have to take it and give it your best shot.

With the 3-1 lead (and the Warriors schedule the past month), time and fatigue is on your side. Gotta go all out to win it.

I think the Lakers will try to knock them out early and pull the plug if it’s like the 3rd quarter and the Warriors are up 20..

I think he will pull Bron and AD early in that situation..

I was talking to a long-time Laker fan I know and he compared this Warriors squad to the 2011 Lakers.

Defending a title off of multiple chip runs, not always there in the regular season, never really showed championship ability, but there was always the assumption that they could just flip the switch and turn it on.

Then, when the time came against the Mavs, they folded. Just showed that the regular season bad habits were who they really were.

And that team was a lot better than the 23' Warriors in the regular season too.

This 2023 Warrior team is done. Even if they win it tonight it’s over in 6

Too much stuff goin on with Jordan Poole. He’s not giving them anything at all

It’s just a bridge too far they are what they are this season. They had to fight tooth and nail to beat the Kings after bein down 0-2

At least that‘s my read but this playoff has been crazy the Sixers might actually close the Celtics out in 6 games tomorrow so who knows :mindblown:

I actually think it'll be the opposite. Those nikkas have heart...they the champs for the reason. And they love challenges. They see it as a another notch on their legacy belt. Those sick nikkas were actually excited about going down 0-2 to the Kings because "they never did it before"

Before that they were relishing the challenge of coming back from 3-1 to win the championship in 2019 because they saw it as "poetic" after losing 3-1 in 2016. And before Klay went down they were giving a good ass fight.

Now is their chance to do it again and to do it against the dude that gave them that epic blemish on their resume. They definitely gonna be up to coming back and taking this series.

This is gonna be hard as shyt for the Lakers to close out. The only good thing about it is at least the Lakers know what's coming...

Ngl, that’s the exact team I was thinking of when writing my comments. It reminds me of situations like that or even back in 04 when it looked like we should win easily and get we are outclassed because the intangibles are missing. There were also roster flaws we thought could be passed off but the intangibles were important.

nikkas is already punching a trip to the Finals. I was too but now I’m not sure

This Denver team, who I had no respect for, is starting to worry me

Lakers have nobody for Joker AD can’t play every minute of that series

They gonna have to dust off Tristan Thompson who is washed and Mo Bamba who looks like he don’t know what the hell he’s doin and only looked competent when he‘s on the floor with LeBron

I’m worried about Joker he’s a cheat code right now
You let joke get his 50 and shut everyone else off. He won’t beat you scoring he’s at his best facilitating
