granted I only listened to it once last week while traveling but his albums have been so dull and dreary that I liked hearing Conway on mostly lighter production for a change

They can take this album down. No replay value at all. This a throwaway homes :francis:

Yeah, I'm a little confused about the direction on this project. Seems like it's all over the place.

The production might be the worst I've ever heard on a Griselda-related album. That's my biggest issue with it. I like Monogram a lot. And Stab Out is crazy too. But a lot of the other sh*t just seems off, to me. I probably only f*ck with 2-3 tracks on the whole album, which is crazy. Conway is my dude, so I know he's going to always show up, lyrically. But this joint kinda threw me off a little.

Could really be a case of the notoriety getting to you. I’m all for continued change and upward movement but something about Conway’s progression or lack thereof is startling. He really is a naturally gifted MC who has murdered a whole lot of records over the years. I just don’t know what to make of what he was doing on this project. Like you said, all over the place. Downright bad production & ayo his verse on Super Bowl was straight GARBAGE. I don’t think I’ve ever said that about a Conway verse before. That shyt was super trash :aicmon:

Sometimes guys feed too much into their ego & I think Conway is a victim of this because this album was trash & he was putting it out like some smooth cool wavy shyt but this not it :francis:

After multiple listens, this doesn’t even feel like an album. Sounds like a bunch of mid loosies thrown together just to put something out for the sake of.

I haven’t heard it yet but I’m not liking what I’m hearing.

I understand why fans might want depressing and "deep" music but an artist shouldn't make/release that type of shyt when he doesn't want to just to satisfy his fanbase.

I'm not even into Griselda like that but I like this one a lot :ehh:

I don't even hate the beats with zero drums as much as I normally do because I feel like his lyrics carry the song real well.

to me, this is some of the most dynamic stuff I've heard from him in a minute as a lot of his previous stuff kinda all runs together for me. Slow, plodding, cold weather beats that have bored me to death if I'm keeping it a buck. :francis:

he always had lyrics, but in listening to this he's leaning more towards bars for bars sake than coke raps :yeshrug:

Just listened to it again, and I don't think it's really bad, it's just not good either. He sounds a bit too comfortable in a sense that he feels like whatever he does is pretty good just because. But just the skills alone don't do it, he needs to put more effort in. Pretty disappointed, this is possibly his most forgettable release so far.
That EP with Jae Skeese is much better.

I must be the only smooth brained that actually like this album. It sounds like some "I Spy" shyt. Like I should be looking through binoculars from my tree to get the drop on the opps.

Yes, the beats are....an odd choice but its the charm and tone of the album. Like I should wear butterfly collars and have powder under my nose for this banger.
