Been reading through the thread & my thoughts pretty much echo the majority what you all think about it. It was super underwhelming to me, it’s got joints, prolly 5,6 that I like but it sounds more like a compilation of music just thrown together than an actual album.

Monogram has probably seen the most play from me along with Brooklyn chop house, some of the grimier joints on here just seems like we’ve heard way too similar sounding songs from him far too many times before for them to really stand out

I got higher hopes for Side B - is that still coming this month?

They can take this album down. No replay value at all. This a throwaway homes :francis:

Yeah, I'm a little confused about the direction on this project. Seems like it's all over the place.

The production might be the worst I've ever heard on a Griselda-related album. That's my biggest issue with it. I like Monogram a lot. And Stab Out is crazy too. But a lot of the other sh*t just seems off, to me. I probably only f*ck with 2-3 tracks on the whole album, which is crazy. Conway is my dude, so I know he's going to always show up, lyrically. But this joint kinda threw me off a little.

Could really be a case of the notoriety getting to you. I’m all for continued change and upward movement but something about Conway’s progression or lack thereof is startling. He really is a naturally gifted MC who has murdered a whole lot of records over the years. I just don’t know what to make of what he was doing on this project. Like you said, all over the place. Downright bad production & ayo his verse on Super Bowl was straight GARBAGE. I don’t think I’ve ever said that about a Conway verse before. That shyt was super trash :aicmon:

I think this was his first project on his own label too.

So going off on his own might've been a little unsettling for him, on the first shot. He's working outside of the Griselda bubble for the first time. Calling his own shots, handling his own budgets, running a company. It's a lot. I think all those factors played a role in the direction kinda lacking for this one. It's a lot to oversee, when you're used to being a part of a winning team and not having to worry about checking every box on your own.

Sometimes guys feed too much into their ego & I think Conway is a victim of this because this album was trash & he was putting it out like some smooth cool wavy shyt but this not it :francis:

Yeah, I was expecting some rugged sh*t, with just Daringer and Conductor Williams, at the helm. That vintage Griselda sound. Whenever they get away from that vibe, sh*t doesn't work out, lol. Daringer had a nice amount of joints on here, but it sounds like they didn't even know what the theme of the project was going to be.

And it needs to be said, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League ain't got it no more. They fell off years ago. I don’t know why they're even on this album.
