wait he got another one?
Yeah. He wanted to release the newest one From King to a God with God Don’t Make Mistakes as a double album. It wasn’t possible, so he dropped King to a God last month and God Don’t Make Mistakes is next.

It’s like disc 1 and disc 2 of the same album but if they had to drop separately. This new one is mostly introspective and storytelling songs.

Why wasn't it possible? Sample issues?

I figured go ahead and make a thread and keep it updated with info about the album. The idea was for King to a God and this to be a double album so think of that as Disc 1 and this as Disc 2. Most of the songs for both were recorded in the same time period.

Conway keeps saying the album will drop in "just a few weeks" and here's a tracklist. It could change a little bit and I'll update it when the cover art and final tracklist drop. In spoiler tags down below, you can hear some of the album.

1. Wallo Talks
2. Lock Load (prod. Daringer)
3. Piano Love (prod. The Alchemist)
4. John Woo Flick (feat. Benny & Westside Gunn) (prod. Daringer)
5. Can't You Be (feat. A Boogie & Jeremih) (prod. Hitmaka)
6. Born Rich Die Richer (prod. WondaGurl)
7. Courtside At Barclays (prod. Beat Butcha)
8. Babas (ft. Keshia Plum) (prod. Daringer)
9. Wild Chapters (feat. Anderson Paak & T.I.) (prod. Hit-Boy)
10. Bessies Fair (prod. 9th Wonder)
11. Serena Vs Venus (prod. 9th Wonder)
12. Tear Gas feat. Lil Wayne & Rick Ross (prod. Cozmo Beats)
13. Stress (prod. by Daringer)
14. You The One (prod. by AraabMuzik)
15. God Don't Make Mistakes (prod. The Alchemist)
16. The Cow (feat. Westside Gunn) (prod. Daringer)
Oh, and in the video he also confirms King to a God Deluxe on the way, Reject 3, and Hall & Nash 2.

11:32 - Lock Load (prod. Daringer)
13:36 - Piano Love (prod. Alchemist)
17:38 - Courtside at Barclays (prod. Beat Butcha)
22:29 - God Don’t Make Mistakes (prod. Alchemist)
40:09 - Tear Gas feat. Wayne and Rick Ross (prod. Cozmo Beats)
53:05 - John Woo Flick feat. Benny and Westside (prod. Daringer)

Old potential King to a God cover that might end up as the cover for this

Edit: He talks about the album some here at the 11 minute mark, and explains how it's more autobiographical than King to a God and that when he plays them for people he plays them back to back.

Legit happy to see Cozmo out here still putting in work, genuinely happy for him. if i had his contact still i would personally let him know this.

Benny The Butcher is the nicest in Griselda. His projects have easily the most replay value. Conway is tough as shyt and can spit lights out but I feel his albums don’t really hit like Benny’s. Tana Talk 3 & Plugs I Met are both classics in my book. Can’t wait for Burden Of Proof. I’m hoping for another instant classic. Westside Gunn needs to go ahead and retire. He simply cannot rap to save his life :mjlol:

Too much sauce.

Just like food, I don't wanna eat steaks everyday although I like stake.

I don't even have time to digest and build up appetite for a the next project with these guys :unimpressed:
I'll listen though, probably won't appreciate it as I would if it dropped next spring or summer. I can barely repeat any bars, with artists I fukk with, like Conway, I often know the bars to a bunch of songs per album.

I think he’s gonna need an Em feature for this project, but if he makes a verse like Bang it might fukk up the vibe of the whole album. He still needs the exposure.

I'm with every word of this but....I feel like Conway proved a lot as far as album making with King to a God. That's the first thing he dropped on the level of a Tana Talk 3 or Plugs I Met. It was very cohesive and well rounded. Bars a level higher than most of the stuff he releases every other month. Actually I thought everything Conway dropped in 2020 was dope (King, Lulu, and Wicked) which really surprised me because I didn't like anything he dropped in 2019. And the stuff he's been playing on IG has way better lyrically than most of his projects before this year IMO, at least in terms of storytelling and introspective songs.

Benny and Conway and Boldy can carry the team going forward. I never cared for WSG as a solo act.

It’s coming

when is this actually supposed to drop? I’ve got into Griselda as a whole a lot more since FKTG and Burden Of Proof. Listened to some shyt for ages but when one of my homies got Conway for a verse on his album was when he really caught my attention.
