Started listening to The Blakk tape again....
I'm embarrassed to say it too Jay-Z cosigning Overdose for me to really appreciate. I hated the beat for so long I couldn't get into it. But once I heard them say they made it bare bones so Conway could show off I started liking it. The beat is actually a pretty fast tempo too and his flow is insane.Saw all of them a couple months ago on the WWCD tour and was absolutely floored when he performed Overdose. I had completely forgotten about that song
that performance and the rest of the show sold me on these dudes forever
It was probably the title track for God Don't Make Mistakes. When it's out in CDQuality it'll probably be in my top 3 Conway songs. I'll post it below as well as some of his other more introspective content. Let me now if this helps? I can send these in mp3 if you like.
God Don't Make Mistakes (prod. Alchemist) (title track on the upcoming on the God Don't Make Mistakes album)

15 years old over the Stan beat when his rap name was Kannon
.
i dont even think it was con who played it. Someone was playing snippets one night and he said he was gonna get in trouble for playing it. Dude was in a white shirt but didnt have a hat on
Now I'm gonna be tripped out. I mean on one hand that does sound like Conway, because e played Babies & Fools and apologized to Gibbs for playing it. And he also played some Just Blaze tracks and said he'd get in trouble for those too. Conway gets drunk and plays everything in his computer.
But he's also very recognizable so if you say it wasn't him I believe you.
EDIT: Not this is it?
Damn. before the pandemic? I'll try and hunt it down and see what I can find.Yes. I was gonna say I think it was just blaze. It sounded like some of that old school 50 pain music.
Wasn't that song tho. This video was mad long but no one was in it. It was just a shot of dudes computer and like a file list. I saw a thread like 6 months ago with it. I don't even think it was IG actually. It was some weird stream app I believe
Lol I'm tripping. Whoever it was was in it for a sec but then went off camera while the snippets played
