This is Conways most versatile project :ohhh: it's almost flawless too :wow:
If only Anza was removed it would be perfect:francis:
I like Anza. I feel like I'm tripping. Conway's been doing trap shyt and/or bouncier shyt, so it didn't come as a surprise to me. I thought the church organ sample (or not sample?) was dope too.

I'll skip Armani's verse but he was smart to put it last, like how Jay did Amil on You Me Him Her

that shyt gotta hurt

I felt that shyt

RIP Shay
I got choked up. I didn't know much about him until his beats on Plugs I Met and then I did my homework and realized he'd produced some stuff I really enjoyed, and I started seeking out more stuff he'd produced.

I definitely got choked up listening to Dropping Tears.

Side note, is this the first tribute song in hip-hop to someone that's passed from Covid? I think it might be.

It's not bad at all except for her verse but when I talk flawless I can't be pushing next track and pretend like it's not there:manny:
"Anza" is a BANGER. :damn:

nah that shyt got a ill bop to it...dope track
See above, it's not even that I dislike the track as a whole, but Armani Ceasar keeps the project from being perfect.

Album is really dope on first listen.
The Havoc beat is ridiculous. :wow:

We really gotta collectively stop pretending like he’s not the GOAT producer and give him his flowers.

Who are these people? :mjtf:
What @Stone said. A lot of people that got on board within the past 2 years.

Honestly I kind of understand it. They tuned in during that time period where Benny was dropping his best work with Tana Talk 3 and Plugs I Met while Conway was dropping probably his weakest with Food 3 and Look What I Became.

I'm as big a Mobb fan anyone in The Booth so this is just my take. :hubie:

I think there are 3 reasons Havoc doesn't get enough props, and thankfully reason #1 is about to change.

1. Out of site, out of mind. Honestly, he doesn't release much music these days. :yeshrug: Every year he'll have a few placements, or co-produce with Kanye West. In this era of producing full projects, he hasn't done one for anyone in a long time. But hopefully his projects with Method Man and Flee Lord should drop this year. That right there will get him a lot more deserved attention. Just look at Pete Rock. He was quiet forever, and has been mad active lately and getting lots of praise for it.

2. He was always underrated even back in Mobb Deep's prime, by his own admission, because he did very little work for anyone outside of the camp and Queensbridge. He didn't really start trying to go out of his way to get placements on albums until the 2000's.

3. He's super private and very much not-active on social media.

Anytime he's on an album he's one of the best parts every time. As you said, he's also a crazy underrated emcee. The last rapping album he did was the one Alc produced, and lyrically it was slept on.
