I’ve always thought too much Daringer can get tiresome and boring. And I’ve thought they sounded better once Alchemist started helping more; Lulu is all Conway and Alc, and is more vibrant and diverse sounding than his projects that Daringer produced. There was more experimental samples. There was more swing on the drums instead of the heavy snares on the 2s and 4s. It was refreshing.
On Dough Damani it’s like you’re flying high with Alc and then Daringer pulls you down to the pavement. I think this album had the perfect blend. I think it would be weird to never hear Daringer involved, but I like that he was kept to 3 beats on here. King to a God is the perfect blend of dusty boom bap, modern boom bap, and modern polish.
Benny’s expanding his range too. His project this month is all Hit-Boy beats, and Plugs I Met 2 is all Harry Fraud.
Flee Lord’s voice stands out too much to be considered monotonous

On some producer nerd shyt, I'm interested to know if Spurs 3 is sample-free or not. Beat Butcha went sample free for Everything But Jesus and maybe Front Lines too. Dude is walking away from this album as a winner. More beats than any other producer, and easily produced 3 of the best songs on here. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I like Beat Butcha and Daringer better apart than when they produce together.
i really wanna know why West is the only 1 that doesn't put Camino on his projects. he makes dope ass hooks, kills verses on Benny/Con projects.
its not that he needs to be on a WSG joint, imo he's held it down more than enough on his own joints
Always wondered that too. Feel like he’s due at least for a hook on a WSG project.
Side note...would also like to hear Conway and 38 Spesh cook up something
