wanted to run this through a bunch of times before I posted. This right here is a very dope album. The only thing I can say is wack about the album is the Armani Caesar part which can be easily skipped. My top 3 right now are dough and damani, juvenile hell and seen everything but/or spurs 3. Favorites keep changing which is a good sign. Banks slaughtered juvenile hell even flee snapped:damn: havoc with the time clock high hats:ohlawd:. Meth had one of the best verses of the year :wow:The beat switch on dough and damani is :scust:

Spurs 3 is prime time griselda shyt and machine had the best verse and put that shyt in a bodybag.

Forever dropping tears is real dope too. It’s probably too early to say but I think this tops the top of the albums of 2k20.

I never said he made Griselda. I said without him you wouldn’t have them.. meaning he’s been there from
The start. He’s a foundation just as much as Wes’ Conway & Benny is and people don’t wanna acknowledge that for some reason
You have a point. He was a Griselda member before Benny was
:manny:

True Griselda fans might not like this album due to him rapping on different production.

thats what makes this one of my favorite ones by him. I really aint big on Griselda production wise. Love Benny and Con's lyrics and love WSG's style, but I never fukked with them like that on a consistent basis like a lot of Coli just because of the production. This one is good, the Hit Boy, Havoc, E Sermon/Rockwilder, Preemo, Khrysis carry this joint. Also loved mostly every Benny project except The Mob...couldnt get in to that one much.

Forever droppin beat. Wow.
Who would’ve thought Erick Sermon and Rockwilder on a beat together in 2020?

One thing I like about Griselda is they’re helping veterans get exposure to a younger audience. To be clear, I know kids don’t really listen to Griselda or this type of rap. But more are starting to be open to it, and it’s opening doors for younger cats to educate themselves and do the knowledge on veterans of the game.

It applies to rappers like Meth but it also applies to producers like Sermon and Rockwilder. And then it goes the other way too, and old heads get exposed to Griselda, and then maybe from there to Flee Lord, Elcamino, etc.

It’s like a big synergy of everyone helping everyone.

I’ve always thought too much Daringer can get tiresome and boring. And I’ve thought they sounded better once Alchemist started helping more; Lulu is all Conway and Alc, and is more vibrant and diverse sounding than his projects that Daringer produced. There was more experimental samples. There was more swing on the drums instead of the heavy snares on the 2s and 4s. It was refreshing.

On Dough Damani it’s like you’re flying high with Alc and then Daringer pulls you down to the pavement. I think this album had the perfect blend. I think it would be weird to never hear Daringer involved, but I like that he was kept to 3 beats on here. King to a God is the perfect blend of dusty boom bap, modern boom bap, and modern polish.

Benny’s expanding his range too. His project this month is all Hit-Boy beats, and Plugs I Met 2 is all Harry Fraud.

Really?! Didn't look at the production credits. I agree E Dub and Rock. Never thought. And I agree with the rest you said

Yea I like the growth I’m hearing from him. Started listening to Con and Griselda since early 2017 and you could definitely hear how much he has grown from back then.

I actually started fukking with them back in 15 maybe because they had joints with Skyzoo. at first I really wasnt feeling Con on the tracks he was on with WSG, everything was like 80 bpm or less. I was fukking with WSG more believe it or not. then when I heard Benny (maybe Shower Shoe Lord) thats really what got me checking for their shyt. then the Sway freestyle by Benny and I was down from that point. Con is crazy though...I just gotta here him over the right production to really hit...

Yea his verse on here is really impressive. I need a project from Flee on this type of production with features like Banks etc.

Flee aint lackin on production breh. He drops a project a month avg. its his monotonous flow and rhymes. beats are NOT his issue at all. and keep in mind he has a project coming which is fully produced by Havoc. he already had the Pete Rock and Buckwild joints. His two projects with Mephux stand out the most though.

Between Ransom and Che Noir

Che Noir is the only album I can say in YEARS that I consider a CLASSIC. Still there is nothing coming close to this album. This album by Con is good. The Lox album has some highs but very low lows.....I may put this Conway album second behind Che, have to think to make sure I didnt miss anything.

were you surprised about this? or you mean them together on a Conway track? because they are like brothers. they are business partners and they are doing a lot of music together, just hasnt come out yet. Also Rock produced about 3 on the Erick Sermon album last year.
