Chaos - The Album
even this?
Incredible song imo.
even this?
Let me piggyback off this one.
"Character driven" movies are usually massively overrated. Unfortunately, more often than not, it means that there's not a whole lot of plot. Also means that you're probably going to asked to invest in a "deeply flawed" main character, which usually just means they're a shytty person meant to "challenge the audience".
Rotten Tomatoes has ruined opinions on movies, and to an extent, had a negative effect on how and what movies get made.
I really enjoy Get Out, but objectively speaking, it's not as good a movie as it's made out to be. It was very much a case of being the right movie that came out at the right time. That said, it still might be the most effective tool ever in explaining the general discomfort of being the only black person at a gathering of white people.
Part 2 : Attack On Cinema
There are very few to rarely… maybe NEVER any cinema movies worth the full price of movie tickets, popcorn, drinks, and candy
fukk out of here trynna pay $50 for tickets, drinks and snacks to see fukking Licorice Pizza, Belfast, or Marry Me
Better find that shyt on Red Box or rent that bytch for $2.99 on Vudu
It was more of an event than anything else....and a celebration of Black excellence.- Without Heath Ledger's performance, The Dark Knight is mid. Nobody was checking it for Batman or the story, we just wanted to see what Heath would do next.
- Endgame wasn't good.
- Black Panther has NOT held up. And it pains me to say that
Every X-Men movie besides Logan was straight garbage. I still don’t understand how they kept making those joints
probably had a similar contract to sony's that they had to keep making them to keep the license.
secondly, beyond Dark Phoenix and new Mutants, they all made bank relative to their budgets, so easyish money.
Oh I agree. And I loved the moment. But my fear now is that our inability to be honest about the quality issues with Black Panther means the following movies won't hit like the first time.It was more of an event than anything else....and a celebration of Black excellence.
