@StatUS I ain't saying Mariah can't make it, she certainly can. What I'm saying is several of these women aren't gonna make it out of catering/midcard so you're definitely going to continue to see women from WWE go to AEW and vice versa and that's a good thing
Exactly. Both AEW and WWE have too much talent for the tv time they have available. You always have to have a too much, got to have people on the bench to sub in when someone needs time off or gets injured. But even taking that into account there is still too much.

TK really needs to get his shyt together with ROH. That won’t solve everything but would certainly help with trying to keep more talent happy.

I wouldn’t exactly say going to be biggest wrestling company in the world is betting on yourself. That’s what the goal is for most people in sports and entertainment. As long as Vaquer and Starks don’t fukk it up or somehow get out of favor with the office they’ll be full-time main roster members getting paid handsomely before long. Rather they get booked to their liking is always up in the air because that’s their opinion to have.

Now what Santana did? That’s what I call betting on yourself.

Sacrificing money for small profile jobs (TNA and non-nationally televised indies) to show he is worth a better role than he had with no guarantee he’ll ever sign another single big money contract with WWE or AEW.

Sure, Vaquer took less money and Starks probably is too, but it’s not like they are grind away getting paid a hot dog and a handshake for an indie booking or getting paid the same low salaries the typical no-name NXT talent makes. I actually wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they signed for main roster money like Jordyn Grace did.

Yeah, passing up or working your way out of a deal with the second largest wrestling company to take a deal with the largest wrestling company isn't exactly what I'd call a calculated risk.

Your example of Santana definitely is, especially considering that I don't know that it's worked the way it seems like he might've imagined it.

I haven’t seen much of his post AEW work but from all accounts I’ve read is that he is killing it. Rather that ever translates into WWE signing him is a different story. I doubt he goes back to AEW as long as Ortiz is there and TK is the booker. Never say never in wrestling, but just seems very unlikely.

And in the case of Starks, he left AEW to go to the bigger company that everyone agrees is a much better fit for him. And a company that also has rather influential talent (Cody, Punk) that will likely go to bat for him.

How is it not a risk…?

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. He's been putting in what seems like solid work, but I don't really see anyone listing him as a standout reason to watch TNA.

Totally different situation, in my opinion. WWE signing him was pure hubris. They signed him after he had bottomed out in TNA post America's Most Wanted breakup. Somehow, the out of shape guy with a bad attitude who couldn't cut a promo and worked mid to terrible solo matches ended up being an out of shape guy with a bad attitude who couldn't cut a promo and worked mid to terrible solo matches when he signed with WWE too.

Starks and May have shown that they have legit talent. Deciding to give that talent a bigger platform honestly isn't that large of a risk. The real risk is whether or not they get booked well, which is a base level risk for everyone everywhere.

I don’t see Mehriah standing out in the E. So much better talent in-ring and character. May can cut a promo, but when the bell rings she’s average at best.

And before dumbasses try the “oh look, they turned on her” bullshyt, most of you already know I never cared for her. :skip:

And yes, I have her a chance. If she makes it there, good for her. But I’ll take Jaida, Sol, Lola, Kelani, and Steph over her 10/10 times.

You're the only one with the pass. Gotta respect you standing ten toes down on that hate since her first appearance :pachaha:

You're wrong, but I respect it. :obama:

Time will tell if I’m wrong. :sas1:

she wouldn’t be top 10 in NXT at this moment. :sas2:

And like I said, I gave her a chance. After 6+ matches I could tell she ain’t special or someone I’d put much stock in. :manny:
