Yeah yall trippin on Mariah. She's a high-end talent to me.
She's basically still a rookie at the mainstream level and showed enough in and out the ring to give her a bag. Remember she's only 26.
Look at some of the top stars right now in the E. Tiffany is good in the ring but her title run has had ups and a of lot downs. Iyo might be the best on the planet but she's just now becoming a mega star.
It took Becky years to come into her own.
I mean just off her look she's gonna get pushes. If Maxine could wrestle half as good as Mariah they'd have put the title on her by now lol.
There's better talent in NXT like Sol Ruca, Kelani, Stephanie, Giulia, and I think Tatum Paxley is super slept on but if she is going to WWE then she's right up there imo.

Not enough room. Mariah May might do very well in WWE but someone (or multiple people) aren't making it out of that group. You didn't name Grace, Lola vice, Jaida Parker, Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson, Roxanne Perez, Thea Hale or the main roster mainstays like Liv Morgan who had a great year and Charlotte, Becky, Iyo, Bianca, Jade, Tiffany, Rhea etc. who are all fighting at the top for time.
There's simply not enough room and some will be left in catering
I blame Tony Khan much more than I would Mariah May. Look no further than how he’s completely killed that redhead girl that used to be with Britt. Chick gets ZERO reaction now is a former 2x womens champ.

She's not gonna be in catering because every decent wrestler from AEW gets a shot because the company wants to make sure it keeps those doors open. It'll then be up to her to show and prove and I think she can. On that list some are better in ring but really only Liv, Bianca, and Rhea are killing it overall right now. Becky and Charlotte would be pushed to the top at AEW too so it's moot. And the rest are on her level so then it's just what can you do to stand out.

I wouldn’t exactly say going to be biggest wrestling company in the world is betting on yourself. That’s what the goal is for most people in sports and entertainment. As long as Vaquer and Starks don’t fukk it up or somehow get out of favor with the office they’ll be full-time main roster members getting paid handsomely before long. Rather they get booked to their liking is always up in the air because that’s their opinion to have.
Now what Santana did? That’s what I call betting on yourself.
Sacrificing money for small profile jobs (TNA and non-nationally televised indies) to show he is worth a better role than he had with no guarantee he’ll ever sign another single big money contract with WWE or AEW.
Sure, Vaquer took less money and Starks probably is too, but it’s not like they are grind away getting paid a hot dog and a handshake for an indie booking or getting paid the same low salaries the typical no-name NXT talent makes. I actually wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they signed for main roster money like Jordyn Grace did.
