what's funny is this:
if alien/spiritual beings showed up right now with the promise of no aging, decay, war, spite, suffering or unhappiness...
we'd call it false flagging, illuminati hijinks, and/or machinations of whatever evil deities exist in the underworlds of our chosen religions.
I think the only way it would be accepted by some is if earthly wishes and materialistic pleasures were given out.
how would you solve that?
What would you do if you were The Second Coming.. you showed up and proclaimed "it's all good now! The Anti-Christ was here 7 years ago but dont worry about that! It's OVER!!!!"
only to have Christianity call YOU the Anti-Christ and collectively shoot you in the face?
You don't die, but Christians would go "See!? just like the bible said! He got up from a headshot!"
I really do think that humans en masse will always be too used to being miserable, too scared to step forward and too ignorant to do anything about either.
Isnt enlightenment/ascension inevitable anyway?
The following stories will certainly have you wonder about synchronicity, coincidence and causality. Synchronicity gives us access to a timeless reality beyond the mental and biological contingencies in which we are trapped. It transcends the world of forms and phenomena that keeps us in causality. But Is it real? Or is everything mere coincidence of causality? I invite you to give me your thoughts on this subject after reading these short stories that fascinate me.
The six Holden
1928, Blackburn, an automobile accident allows the strange meeting of six people whose name is Holden. Two cars collided, one belonged to a Holden, it was driven by a Holden who had with him a servant named Holden. The other was another Holden owner and driver called Holden. The police officer who came to set the record called himself Holden also.
Remember Pearl Harbour
December 7th 1939, in the small town of Owensville, Indiana. One morning, local residents, discovered, traced on the pavement, these words: "Remember PEARL HARBOR" The Japanese bombing of the U.S. Navy took place exactly two years later to the day.
Wreck of the Titan
The writer Morgan Robertson, published a book telling the story of a shipwreck. This story, although dating back 14 years before the tragedy of the Titanic, is almost a copy. The name of the ship was the Titan. It measured 244 meters and moved 70,000 tons, the Titanic, 269 meters to 66,000 tons. Both had three propellers and reached speeds of 24-25 knots. In the book, the Titan could accommodate 3,000 people, including crew, unfortunately lifeboats were insufficient in number, but nobody cared because the Titan, was declared unsinkable by its designers, like on the Titanic.
Lincoln and Kennedy
Abraham Lincoln was elected U.S. president in 1860, J. F. Kennedy in 1960. Both were assassinated on a Friday, both killed beside their wives, both killed from behind by a bullet in the head. The bodyguard of Lincoln was named Kennedy and Kennedy's bodyguard was named Lincoln. Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy and strongly advised him not to go to Ford's Theatre where he was shot in the lodge "Kennedy". Kennedy's secretary was called Lincoln and advised him not to go to Dallas. The car in which Kennedy had taken place was a Lincoln. Booth killed Lincoln in a theater and fled to a warehouse. Oswald shot JFK from a warehouse and fled to a theater. Booth alleged assassin of Lincoln was born in 1839 and Kennedy's alleged assassin Oswald was born in 1939. These two alleged killers were both killed by "vengeful" without trial. Johnson Andrews succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808 and died exactly ten years after Lincoln. Lyndon Johnson succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908 and died exactly ten years after Kennedy. Finally, the two victims, their two successors and the two alleged killers , had respectively, the same number of letters in their name.
Beatrice’s Choir
Life magazine in March 1950, reported of a story about how fifteen people had to meet at 7:15 pm for a choir repetition at a church in Beatrice, Nebraska. They were all delayed by different reasons, all valid. Some had forgotten the hour, others could not start their car, others were distracted by external events. At 7:25 p.m., the church was destroyed by an explosion. The odds of every person to be late were estimated at a million to one. And yet this is what happened and nobody was hurt.
BOY 640
1992, Cobbs Creek, Virginia. Jeanette Ellis got into her car driven by her husband in order to get to the hospital and give birth to her second child, a boy. But she had no time to get there and her son was born in the car at 6:40 in the morning. The license plate of the car was BOY 640.
yoo where did u get this from and somebody please tell me u can disprove this wtf
There is a federal mint in Dallas that issued a dollar bill just two weeks before Kennedy was shot there. It is now known as the Kennedy assassination bill. Since Dallas is the location of the 11th of 12 Federal Reserve Bank districts, the bill has the letter K, or the 11th letter of the alphabet, printed on its face. Also the number 11 appears in each corner. The serial number of this bill begins with K and ends with A, suggesting "Kennedy Assassination. Kennedy was shot on the 11th month of the year. Adding the two elevens on either side of the bill makes 22, the date of the shooting. The series number is 1963, the year Kennedy died.
The Titan/Titanic one is real, yah. Families of titanic victims tried to sue or kill the writer.
the Lincoln/Kennedy one is real, you can look up the details yourself.
If you think that's a trip, though... you ever hear of the Kennedy Assassination Dollar?
To quote one of my favorite writers: It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.
The Toynbee tiles (also called Toynbee plaques) are messages of mysterious origin found embedded in asphalt of streets in about two dozen major cities in the United States and four South American capitals. Since the 1980s, several hundred tiles have been discovered. They are generally about the size of an American license plate (roughly 30 cm by 15 cm), but sometimes considerably larger. They contain some variation on the following inscription:
TOYNBEE IDEA
IN MOViE `2001
RESURRECT DEAD
ON PLANET JUPITER.
Some of the more elaborate tiles also feature cryptic political statements or exhort readers to create and install similar tiles of their own. The material used for making the tiles was long a mystery, but evidence has emerged that they may be primarily made of layers of linoleum and asphalt crack-filling compound.
Articles about the tiles began appearing in the mid-1990s, though references may have started to appear in the mid-1980s.
Toynbee tiles were first photographed in the late 1980s, and their first known reference in the media came in 1994 in The Baltimore Sun. However, in 1983, The Philadelphia Inquirer published a story that referenced a Philadelphia-based campaign to resurrect the dead on Jupiter that, while failing to explicitly mention the tiles, bears a striking similarity to the ideas of the tiles themselves.
In the United States, tiles have officially been sighted as far west as Kansas City, Missouri, as far north as Boston, Massachusetts,[1] and as far south as Washington, D.C. Since 2002, very few new tiles considered to be the work of the original artist have appeared outside of the immediate Philadelphia area, although one notable sighting appeared in suburban Connecticut in 2006[7] and others appeared in New Jersey in 2008. Presumed copycat tiles have been spotted in Noblesville, Indiana, Buffalo, New York, and on the West Coast, including San Francisco, California, and Roswell, New Mexico.[8] Many older tiles considered to be the work of the original tiler have been eroded by inner-city traffic, but as of 2011 older tiles remain in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; St. Louis, Missouri; Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio; and South America, among other locations.
Newer style tiles have been embedded on several major highways, including Interstate 476 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and Interstate 95. About six more were found on Route 1 North bound starting in Drexel Hill in Delaware County in 2007 and 2008. The plates are much larger than the originals and have red italic writing on them.
Interpretation
People and things referred to
"Toynbee" may refer to historian Arnold J. Toynbee[citation needed] or Ray Bradbury's short story "The Toynbee Convector". "Kubrick's 2001" is thought to refer to 2001: A Space Odyssey, co-written and directed by filmmaker Stanley Kubrick.[citation needed]
Commonly, a city will have a couple of large and colorful tiles along with numerous small and simple tiles like this one, just a block from the White House.
The majority of tiles contain text similar to that above, although a second set is often found nearby. Several of these allude to a mass conspiracy between the press (including newspaper magnate John S. Knight of Knight-Ridder), the U.S. government, the USSR (even in tiles seemingly made years after the Soviet Union's dissolution), and Jews. The writing is of a similar style and poor quality.
A tile that used to be located in Santiago de Chile mentions a street address in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: 2624 S. 7th Philadelphia, PA. The current occupants of the house know nothing about the tiles and are annoyed by people who ask.
Toynbee-tile enthusiasts believe that a native Philadelphian created the Toynbee tiles because of the large number that appear in the city, their apparent age, the variety of carving styles, the presence of the "tile creator's screed" (see below), and the Philadelphia address on the Santiago tile.
Interpretations and "The Idea"
According to letters written by the tiler, allegedly uncovered by Toynbee tile researchers in Philadelphia in 2006,[11] "Toynbee's idea" stems from a passage in Arnold Toynbee's book Experiences, pp. 139142:
Human nature presents human minds with a puzzle which they have not yet solved and may never succeed in solving, for all that we can tell. The dichotomy of a human being into 'soul' and 'body' is not a datum of experience. No one has ever been, or ever met, a living human soul without a body... Someone who acceptsas I myself do, taking it on trustthe present-day scientific account of the Universe may find it impossible to believe that a living creature, once dead, can come to life again; but, if he did entertain this belief, he would be thinking more 'scientifically' if he thought in the Christian terms of a psychosomatic resurrection than if he thought in the shamanistic terms of a disembodied spirit.
A different style of Toynbee tile, found at the corner of 13th and Chestnut Sts. in Philadelphia
Another possible interpretation is that the Toynbee reference comes from the science fiction writer Ray Bradbury's short story "The Toynbee Convector", which alludes to Toynbee's idea that in order to survive, humankind must always rush to meet the future, i.e., believe in a better world, and must always aim far beyond what is practically possible, in order to reach something barely within reach. Thus the message might be that humanity ought to strive to colonize Jupiteras in Kubrick's workor something greater, to survive.
Arthur C. Clarke's short story "Jupiter V" contains elements in common with 2001 and mentions Toynbee several times.
Another explanation may be that the tiles quote a short play by David Mamet, 4 A.M., written in 1983 and published in the collection Goldberg Street: Short Plays and Monologues in 1985. In the play, a radio host (inspired by Larry King) impatiently listens to a caller who contends that the movie 2001, based on the writings of Arnold Toynbee, speaks of the plan to reconstitute life on Jupiter. The radio show host quickly points out the factual errors in the caller's assertion and the logical fallacies of his plan. Mamet has spoken of his belief that the tiles are an homage and seems flattered by them.[12]
Researchers for the 2011 documentary Resurrect Dead claim to have uncovered several pieces of evidence that predate Mamet's play, including a 1980 call by the tiler to Larry King's radio show. Additionally, this documentary cites a newspaper article purportedly published in The Philadelphia Inquirer on March 13, 1983, "Theories: Wanna run that by me again?" by Clark DeLeon, which recounts a conversation between DeLeon and one James Morasco:
Call me skeptical, but I had a hard time buying James Morasco's concept that the planet Jupiter would be colonized by bringing all the people on Earth who had ever died back to life. Morasco says he is a social worker in Philadelphia and came across the idea while reading a book by historian Arnold Toynbee, whose theory on bringing dead molecules back to life was depicted in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. That's why he's contacting talk shows and newspapers to spread the message. He's even founded a Jupiter colonization organization called the Minority Association.
A complex of four tiles was once located at 16th and Chestnut Streets in Philadelphia. Consisting of four panels of barely-legible italic printing, this work can be interpreted[by whom?] as a lengthy complaint about the artist's enemies. A possible transcription of its message reads:
John Knight Ridder is the Philadelphia thug hellion Jew who'd hated this movements guts- for years- takes money from the Mafia to make the Mafia look good in his newspapers so he has the Mafia in his back pocket. The reference to resurrecting dead on planet Jupiter could be a reference to the plot of the film 2001, in which hibernating astronauts who had secret training were to be revived upon arrival at Jupiter.
no way that shyt is just a "coincidence"
that peal harbor one reminds me of something interesting..... hold please.
