It's becoming a total shyt show everywhere.

It's so funny how people are so quick to get rid of it too, they've barely given it a chance.

Already disassembling the programs after a few years, yet Reagonomics and trickle down "theory" have been PROVEN to be INEFFECTIVE AND DESTRUCTIVE FOR 40 YEARS and they still keep that going right?

It's such a dishonest shyt show they keep going.

Y'all keep thinking y'all have one, but you don't. The Democrats can pack the supreme court, set term limits, etc. Biden said he didn't want to do that. The Democrats allow the Republicans to do their thing to scare the weak among us. I'm not scared. You guys don't have that Majara spirit. We're not built the same. That's why you guys don't understand how we move. You don't have fight in you. You come from a long line of runners. That's all you know how to do is run when things are rough. We're not going to let you guys run the only fighters into the ground though.

In bold. Sorry but you are clearly missing the point and the game. They do have the power. What people fail to realize is the power of infrastructure. Infrastructure as in a conversative supreme court, conservative federal judges, and countless money donated to spearhead initiatives like these. Their game is wide open and people still don't see it. This isn't a last ditch effort which is a popular talking point. We are seeing decades in the making of putting the right pieces together to make this happen. In other words, the fruits from their labor are paying off.
Thank you.

This is exactly what I was talking about when I said I don’t understand how ppl don’t get it. It’s frightening.

They did it cuz they thought they had to.

Now that the republicans have the courts, thanks to Trump, they can do what they really want to do: strike it all down

Ofc, you would. If anything, this is an indictment of the lawmakers who wrote the legislation that funded the program.

Yes, it's the literal definition of racist to single out one race for benefit. It should have never been written that way, Law is intended to be precise. See below.

Our legal designation is "[American] freedmen."

CHAP. XC.–An Act to establish a Bureau for the Relief of Freedmen and Refugees.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That there is hereby established in the War Department, to continue during the present war of rebellion, and for one year thereafter, a bureau of refugees, freedmen, and abandoned lands, to which shall be committed, as hereinafter provided, the supervision and management of all abandoned lands, and the control of all subjects relating to refugees and freedmen from rebel states, or from any district of country within the territory embraced in the operations of the army, under such rules and regulations as may be prescribed by the head of the bureau and approved by the President.

According to Clarence Thomas, "freedmen" is a race neutral term as not all slaves were black.

I wish I were joking.

This is why "and others" is put into legislation and programs to help Black people.
For emphasis. Stupid and short-sighted Coli Jamars expect politicians to crash out over something they doesn't go over electorally and will have billionaire money backing its destruction from day one. Always talmbout checkers vs chess but these dudes want tic tac toe.

They gonna Sue down any Jewish or other model minority programs and initiatives?
Nope, because the man leading the charge just hates Black people.

A Jew from Texas, Blum is behind a barrage of court cases taking aim at some of the key achievements of the civil rights movement: the Voting Rights Act, meant to ensure minorities’ access to the ballot box, and affirmative action, meant to improve educational opportunities for minorities.

Yet Blum says he sees himself as working to eliminate race-based discrimination, in the tradition of Jewish leaders and laypeople who worked for civil rights.

Blum’s biggest case — Shelby County v. Holder — went all the way to the Supreme Court, which effectively erased sections of the Voting Rights Act that had required certain states, most of them in the South, and a number of northern counties, to get permission from the federal government before changing their voting laws.

The way the media portrays him as an honest actor simply trying to create fairness, rather than acknowledging him as the anti-Black racist he truly is, has been infuriating.
