but you don't know what is actually in these bills and how they impact people.
Are you asking me for details on each one? I thought you just wanted a synopsis.

Either way, my point is that they're doing shyt. I can't say that's it's bad or good cause I don't know what 's in each and every bill. But they're working.

And before you jump out the window, @Godless Liberal CEO , saying it's all trash, what is actually in these bills and how do they impact people?

You have to be able to answer that in order to take a firm position.

first, I didn’t ask you for anything. I initially liked a post which lead to you copypasta govtrack.us.

Second, I didn’t ask you if it was good or bad, I asked you what they are supposed to do. You still haven’t expressed that because you didn’t take the moment to read the bills.

The first bill passed was to make sure that Lloyd Austin could be secretary of defense because he wasn’t fully a civillian. That has little impact on any of us.

I'm of the opinion that having a Secretary of Defense actually does impact us.

And you're right, you didn't ask, I at'ed you because you dapped the post asking so I figured you were curious too.

You stated that I don't know what's in the bills and how they impact us. I'm not disagreeing with your statement.

But that doesn't mean they're not working together and getting things done.

They've literally documented the bills and laws they've passed. Things are being done.

@Godless Liberal CEO , the evidence in the OP and the update I posted today proves that belief wrong.

Congress is, indeed, working.

You can't say it's trash without knowing what is actually in these bills and how do they impact people.

The last 60 or so days shows that not only is congress as bad as they seem, they're worse.

One would logically expect a congress that holds a majority in both chambers to not impede its own majority from legislating.

If one lived in an imaginary land, maybe, in reality, parties have factions and personalities. It's never easy getting 100 people to agree on something. Or even 50 ppl for that matter.

Especially when those people are from different places and have different upbringings.

I skimmed this year's session...

Some of the impactful stuff is the American Rescue Plan, Save Lives Act, PPP Extension, Juneteenth holiday, debt limit being raised, etc
The American Rescue Plan is a year old now...Most of the money when to us as individuals and our States directly.
