It negates the fact you believe her comments aren’t valid. Just because people in India are racist doesn’t mean she cant let have an understanding of racism or comment on it worldwide.

You have a point. But reparations does nothing to dismantle the white supremacist system that's in place. Its just a wealth transfer and will hardly affect the average white American who will still reap benefits from the system. And let's not kid ourselves, throws some bones, and I'm speaking strictly within an American contexts, to most AA and that money is going back into the economy and back into white hands. Only a small number will take advantage and actually build.

White supremacy is power. And in order to dismantle it, it has to be taken. Rebellion, uprisings, violence is the only way that will happen. And so I would posit, thats the one thing Coates can advocate for that's worse than reparations.
