True. But I've seen articles where it's actually white folks admitting as much, calling Coates the new "it" thing among the liberal intellectual crowd. Actually, I would say, in a way, fetishsizing Coates and the white guilt that comes from it. And they want more of it. And he gives it to them.

I wonder what would happened if Coates would start advocating more of, as solutions to white supremacy, rebellion and violence. I think he's touched on this slightly? But hasn't outright come out and said as much...

Well, Cornell West was lost for a while. This shouldn't be surprising.
Coates chooses to get off twitter, that's his call. A bit of a bytch move for me, he has handled worse criticism before, but I guess it depends on where he is at mentally.

As long as Coates continues to write, I'm cool. Twitter is a bit of a cesspool anyway.
