jada ain't even "great" though, he's just good. there's been tons of good artists in every genre that never quite make it to great or legend.

hip hop is always on some divided bullshyt. either we dont pay enough respect to elder statesmen or we hype all them motherfukkers as legend or having some classic ability

i love you was such a disappointment for something you dedicate to your fans :rudy:

lloyd banks is another decent rapper, but ever since he got on that hoarsey bullshyt, he can get the fukk out of even being in consideration of anything.

i'm not hating, it's realistic and reasonable to call these decent artists, greats who never had classics is a bit of stretching. but hey its complex :manny:
i disagree Jada is great, he never spits what I would call a wack verse. I agree with their assessment he try to please everyone, he makes cokkie cutter albums, like heres the club song, heres the west coast song, heres the south song. just do what you do that grimey ny street shyt

Wtf is this list?a few people had personal vendettas out....how the fuk u gon put Ras Kass in this shyt:damn:....anybody who is a Ras Kass fan or ever has been knows Soul On Ice Is a classic....the fans of the other rappers listed I'm sure even they fans acknowledge they don't have a certified classic....no Rass fans gon tell u Soul On Ice ain't a classic....id put Kurupt in here before Ras Kass..sum Game Stan did that bullshyt obviously....u coulda put Joe Budden in here but u throw Ras Kass in here:childplease:....and Nicki Minaj in even tho she just got in the game and is 2 albums in:wtb:...u not gon give the bytch sum time:laff:.?and how they got all these random east coast bums on this list,Juelz Santanna?Lloyd Banks? Are they only taking about the greatest lyricist or greatest rappers? Mind Of Mystikal is a personal classic, but I don't think he got a certified...he should be on this over Juelz Santana or Lloyd Banks or fukin Minaj:rudy:

Soul on Ice had some of the worst production in the history of rap. I prefer the sophomore. Joint easily. Ludas first joint is good enough not to put him on this list.

you know who else should've been on the list?

KOOL G RAP

str8 up..dope, legendary MC,has classic SONGS, classic verses...but no classic "5 mic" albums..at best he has a couple 4 mic albums

i never have the urge to listen to his albums either, unlike other rappers from that golden era like PE,KRS,Ra,BDK and EPMD

The Coming is a classic. Soul on Ice is close to, very close, in fact I see no problems either way. I don't think Jada is great, he's just very good. Fab is pretty good. Luda's Word of Mouf can take him off of there.

Poster that said Joe Budden could've went there is correct.

Why do we insist on reading Complex lists?
