1. The false narrative that HR or any coworker, for that matter, is a trusted friend.
2. All work "relationships" have higher than normal boundaries.

It's ironic bc I just put #1 in effect. Moments ago, my work colleague told me she is thinking of leaving bc of blatant disrespect by another coworker in a meeting (note: I was in the meeting). The supervisor and HR both called a breh asking for a statement. I played it cool; sharing no negative moments and letting him know I want no involvement in this chicanery. Begrudgingly, he understood my position.
