- The main character destroys their car, house, some of significant wealth and states in some form or fashion "There is no turning back"
- Man walks into a bar and says "The usual"
- Character is visibly determined and angry and another character tells the character they can or can't do something. "You can't do xyz". "I will not do XYZ, I will do some ABC" with ABC being some turn of phase. (i.e. "I will not stop the wheel, I will break the wheel")
