playing the album as i type and it sounds fantastic. i don't even get how a newbie can even point to perceived wackness here....my hunch is they hear the zaniness of his rhymes and it makes their simp Common fueled heads explode.

I just realized this is my second favorite Common Sense album....I had been telling myself LWFC was for years....but that album has simp Com all over it....just so happens Dilla's brilliance is on there as well.

That's the thing, I love zany Common, think it takes true skill to come off like that. It's a little turned down on Resurrection, but I enjoy the comical element to his rhymes on that one as well.

So far I like Can I Borrow a Dollar, been peeping it on Spotify. I'll probably order it off Amazon.

like i said, earlier:

if you were not old enough or cognitive.

your opinion is not worth any value. how the fukk is soul by the pound the remix goofy. thst is one of the best remixes ever fukk'n made in rsp history.

it was one of rap's last, legot holy shyt next level moments.

only him, busts, krs and redman consistently were able to do in the history of rap. everybody else used to try attempt and fail after that gen to do.

y'all are lost and need to learn the history, for real.

y'all got that bullshyt revision story that is garbage.

It's not a compete waste of time of your a big Common fan and would like to document his transformation from this album to Ressurection, he's got some dope lyrics here and there, he just wasn't as "polished" nor socially aware as he is on follow up albums.

what u said would be my reviews.

great minds think alike.

cosign,...

nikkaz don't even realize common, was not always no simp sellout sucker.

there was a time when common was the hardest working and realest hardest plugged't gangster-ish rapper in rap.

common was the first motherfukker consistently beating motherfukkers up and knock nikkaz out at shows. setting it by himself then came the uac and the 4ch's.

nikkaz got it confused,..cube is who needed farrakhan not common.

4ch's was gon fukk cube ass up.

i swear it is like sckraight bizzaro land from what it really used to be.

since reg knot from chicago's dem dare. the crew that common and the whole city got their flossy polo swag from.[including biter ass kanye].

ever since reg made hiphop global from leo burnett,..these sellout nikkaz have taken it.

then, made rap worse to the point of no return. to where now you dudes have let it become de-masculine and efeminate. where y'all give props to some father mc, redhead kingpin shyt.

that would have got you killed in the early nineties.

common came out on the same day as fukk'n:

chronic
whut thee album

so how in the fukk were you listening to realer shyt.
or more affiliated when i was around the members of best crew everyday.

who single-handidly and solely created the marketing boom. that lead to the salesspike era for rap and the culture at leo burnett.

then the protege to the best battle emcee in the history of rap.
i am a real gatekeeper cause i was really and i am still.
at the gate in my armor defending it while you talking a bunch of unactualized bullshyt.

how in the fukk was common a das efx ripoff when he was produced by the beatnuts and cool with del. who both dissed das efx?

common at best at the time was a hybrid of zany and ed og.

which i know from listening to and being apart of this culture for real.

whicb was confirmed by common's mentor. where common got the style and growth from and featured on resurrection.

i know so because i was brought up by common's mentor. whom common took the style from. plus, i took over hypeman duties from common's mentor for juice.

stfu,...nikka,!!!

if you waa so dope at this shyt you would be given accolades on this board.

plus, respect in the culture and say who the fukk you were publically.

plus strike fear in the hearts of emcees, nikkaz in the culture and on this board like:
