No. I'm not giving Marvel a pass either. They probably got some comic writers on staff. I like what they are doing with Black Panther but I wouldn't be surprised if they drop the ball with it.

It's hard when you find out your favorite creators are like this. I'm a huge fan of Fables (still am).

I met Ethan Van Sciver (artist on Green Lantern: Rebirth) twice, and he was a cool dude. I found out only later that he's an alt-right turd.

We were FB friends, and I saw him post about diversity in comics. He said something to the effect of "draw/write better than us, and maybe you'll be able to work in comics".

Unfriended him after that.

I don't like his political views, but he defined Daredevil in a way no one else had before or has since (with the possible exception of Kevin Smith, but even he didn't write Daredevil for long). Can't take that away from him.
