Something I've noticed over the decades is how much enjoyment X-men and X-Villains get out of trolling each other lol

It's what makes the X-men great, shyt is straight soap opera.

To me, that's one of the major differences between the X-Men and the Avengers, Avengers books are about the "job" of being a superhero, X-Men books are about the lives that superheroes lead.

As individual members, we know SO MUCH more about each X-character's history, goals, personalities and motivations. I can't say the same for any Avengers that don't have solo books for these avenues to be explored.

But the entire story was very in character for Peter, which is why I liked it. He's never been smooth with the ladies either, Peter or Spidey having a list of women after him defeats the whole "Loser nerd comes into his own" story that has been his since inception.

And it gave Osborn a legit reason for why he killed Gwen in the first place

either way that shyt was dumb. As I was reading it I was like

The story won't ever be referenced again its that bad. Marvel writers just need to act like it never happened.

I hope so that editor at the time WTF was he thinking.
