That got me thinking about my own upbringing...my mom let me explore really and find what I liked. Obviously nothing that was too crude or lewd or just not for a kid to watch but generally she was cool with just letting me find stuff and embracing it as long as it wasn't anything too bad. The Simpsons formed my funny bone early and after a while she didn't want me watching that either but I still snuck it in and eventually she stopped fighting it because I wasn't turning into Bart
