My pops loved that sh1t. Had me watching Penitentiary in elementary. And this was in the 90s. He just loved all that old sh1t.
Yeah not my dad's thing. All action, all the time. He did have a thing for Star Trek the next generation but that's because he's got a thing for science. And he was a James Bond nut but only for Connery, never anyone else. Most of the movies I'm into, I just found because they appealed to me for one reason or another: Back to the Future Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Honey I Shrunk the Kids are the first movies I remember loving. My dad had a very strict taste in movies and my mom was more into horror flicks and flicks aimed toward black women (as she should be) so I just soaked up whatever from wherever I could find it, especially being a latchkey kid. But most of my humor was shaped by the Simpsons from 3 years old
