Depends on my mood breh. They both do different things and have two different forms of comedy. Again that's the point: not everything can be diced into race. One of Eddie Murphy's idols is Jerry Lewis which is why he remade the nutty professor. He didn't grow up and say he was only going to listen to black comics and imitate them; he learned from whom he felt was funny and appealed to him. Some days black dynamite is going to hit me harder than Dr Strangelove other days, nothing is funnier to me than young Frankenstein. I can love martin and arrested development equally man. I'm not defined by my race

Breh did you read what I said? There are days when yes I think it's funnier. There are days when I don't. Depends on my mood. The 37 shyt is hilarious to me, the funeral, the conversation about Randal's cousin trying to give himself head, "try not to suck any dikk on your way to the parking lot" all of that works for me. It all depends on what mood you catch me in.

Only getting deep cause you came in here on that black people white people thing when enough of us in this section of the site are trying to dead that bullshyt and just discuss movies. And you're right it's about funny and clerks being funnier to me is just about that: it appealed to me more. Funny is funny but everyone had a different sense of humor and that isn't racial. Yes there are things we can relate to more than white people and vice versa but a lot of it is universal.

Nope. You should peep it though if you're a fan of black dynamite. It's a love letter to blackploitation flicks too but you've gotta see those and know how they work in order for it to really work for you in my opinion. Could be wrong though

Yea I know I've seen parts of it when it came on tv a few times, just never watch the whole thing beginning to end. I've seen Low Down Dirty Shame though. I'm not the biggest blackploitation fan so I don't know if I'd enjoy it so much.

Word that's fair. If Black Dynamite is the Naked Gun of those movies, than Sucka is like a more serious take but still funny as hell. But yeah if those movies aren't your cup of tea then some of the jokes may miss you
