His first speech fighting bruce explains the bomb. The only dumb part is two of them willing to die and destroy the entire league of shadows just to bomb gotham.

Its illogical for a man and woman as smart as talia and bane.

i went back and watched the movie again u dweeb, and batman hits banes breathing masks a few times in the first place and it has no affect. im supposed to assume he wasnt as strong than? and yea, why would they blow themselves up just to blow up gotham when like i said they could easily escape and just pressed a button on a helicopter or somethin. stupid shyt.

no. i dont even barely remember TDK. im dissapointed because I didnt get the story i truly deserved was fitting for a final encounter with batman. there should have been more of a breaking point for bruce wayne to just return as batman. instead after 8 years of hiatus suddenly hes like "ok, im ready". it would of made his return way more epic instead it just seemed as if there was no excitement that he was back. u can call it nitpicking but these are things that factor into good storytelling. this story just made no sense speaking of which, what was the whole point of the opening monologue for bane? who is the guy hes drawing blood from and for what?

Its ok to admit that someone has failed you sometimes. I understand after waiting all these years for a finale to one of your favorite movies of all time, u cant accept nothing less than amazement. But lets keep it real: This movie was a big steamy pile of nothing tossed into 2 and a half hours. There was no true motive to anything, why is alfred discouraging batman from returning knowing damn well the city needs him the most? why does christian bale get to have his back broken and than be the only guy to ever climb out of a prison hole, and on top of that whats so fukkin hard about jumping from that ledge to the next one? Why does batman get his ass whuuped so easy the first time, but than beat bane in less than 5 mins when he returns? So much bullshyt in this movie, and it all ends with an atomic bomb being flown away? the same fukking ending as the avengers? fukk this dissapointing ass movie. After downloading and watching it, i only watch the scenes with bane. This movie SUCKED!!!!

Suddenly? What are you talking about man? I agree that the movie was all over the place. As far as the start, I agree that there was a potential hole at the start because investigators analyze much more. He did it because they needed to believe that Dr Pavel was dead.

It just didn't feel like a Batman movie to me. I can't describe it but the whole vibe was off to me. I didn't care for it at all. 4.5 / 10

i'm telling you, it's because of the atomic bomb. batman and atomic bombs don't mix. it's like forcing a movie to be epic when you add an atomic bomb. but, ledger will be happy to know that his bang-up performance could only be matched by adding an atomic bomb to the script...
