I really disagree with this on all levels, music videos have never been better. The rise of YouTube and digital cameras has opened the door for so many artists and music video are now much more an art form then it was ever when MTV was relevant. It's who has the best video now instead of who has the biggest budget.

Anyway, I was checking some vids of Dutch artists on Youtube and this female DJ who's on the come-up has two low budget videos done right. Like you can tell they're low budget as fukk but they still work, and it's in the same genre so you might learn something from it.
