The Truth
no biden kinda sorta did the right thing. the only thing i would have done different was pull air support last the army couldnt get supplies nor medical assistance i would ve quit too. i wouldve bombed all the shyt before it was captured
I think they should’ve had a better exit strategy but even theyre saying that the Taliban takeover happened quicker than they expected :snoop:

But I don’t think it was something we lost. We could’ve stayed but we had might as well made it a US territory and it would’ve cost probably twice as much as we already spent just to keep it up.

We should’ve never been over there in the first place. As poor and uneducated as afghanistan is, them dudes were literally living off the US’s dime.

Like people on welfare that refuse to try to get off it. Some people need it, some abuse it. Except in this case, they pulled the plug

So how did the Taliban get trained (pause)?

In 1976ish there was a coup or coup attempt. This led to a bunch of different uprising in one. A military coup won out and the ended up becoming more fundamentalist. The army and Air Force enforced the laws. Russia invaded in 1977ish in response and dominated the Afghans real quickly. It was a combination of Russians and other Soviet republic countries. They hired Afghans as guides, used some of them as additional fighters, interpreters, etc. they trained them to be Russian soldiers since the Russians considered them part of the Soviet Union. The Afghan army and Air Force disbanded and began a guerilla campaign. They were already trained but needed more arms and funding to make it work.

Eager for an opportunity to uno-reverse the communists for Korea and Vietnam. The US began dropping Anti air weapons and CIA liaisons. The CIA gave intelligence, money, weapons, and training for anti air weapons to combat the Russian air bombardments.

The Afghans already knew how to fight a guerilla war and, though they died a lot during the conflict, they passed the lessons on.

After the USSR gave up the educated Afghans, that experienced the modern Kabul in the early 70’s were killed and scattered in the fighting. Many left the country to the grandparents and parents of those we see today. The Taliban that grew out of the mujahideen (that fought the Russians) continued to pass on combat experience and used them to further cripple the rest of the country.

The found that there was infinite money to be made by turning the country into a giant trap house, selling opium, women/girl sex slaves, illegal arms/munitions etc. all this under the guise of fundamentalist Islam. In truth it was all for the money. The old mujahideen that didn’t want to participate became warlords, shadow governors, mercenaries, farmers.

After a whole the Taliban fukked up and started using Afghanistan as a pay-for-play terrorist training resort. 9/11 happened they got invaded and ran off the block into Pakistan. They gathered their forces and returned every spring. They returned in the winter to lick their wounds because they got donkey fukked every time. A lot of the older ones died off, retired, became shadow governors, politicians, etc.

They continued to train, learn, and refine themselves. They continued to get donkey fukked until we left and they could come out and let their nuts hang like Smokey when deebo goes home.

Long story short they already had their training. They learned a little from us but, like any capable force, combat skills are gained through experience and repetition. Theses are the professional descendants of the old Afghan Army and Air Force. The Taliban actually had an Air Force for a little bit, back in the day, if you want to look them up.

this is new Jack city In a nutshell. Afghanistan is like the Pookie of the world’s nations. Corruption and graft is its crack. The Taliban are CMB, the US tried to be Scotty Appleton and get pookie to stop sucking that glass dikk. The last 20 years have been the “pookie getting clean and working his way up the CMB ranks” montage. Afghanistan found itself unable to give up palm greasing, corruption, and graft. The bullshyt we’ve seen all week was Afghanistan’s “Scotty help me, I’m gonna die!” Moment

Reagan and Bush Sr. trained and armed their predecessors the Mujahideen, who trained eventually trained the Taliban.

just adding on to whats been said, i think the Taliban itself was also trained by the ISI (Pakistani equivalent of CIA)
