Jon Stewart completely obliterated Tucker Carlson on Crossfire 12 years ago. It's a miracle he's still even on tv.
If Tariq just sat there playing Candy Crush, he'd demolish any argument by Tucker by default.
Though Tariq does have his issues.
Anyway Tucker didn't let Tariq elaborate on anything and didn't answer any points that Tariq raised. Tucker didn't win any sort of debate. He just asked corny "gotcha" questions and shouted over Tariq any time he tried to call it out. In this way, Tucker behaved like Sean POS Hannity.
exactly. if anyone that hates tariq actually paid attention to the interview. they would've realized Tucket said out of his mouth he wasnt going to debate tariq. pay attention.
that should tell you right there. there was no debate to win or lose.
tucker had a gotcha question. never allowed tariq to go thru the timeline of how things occurred.
you bring up my tweet at 10pm. after 2 hours of racist white people have hit up online everywhere swearing the guy must be a terrorist muslim black or something. all without having any facts.
and the moment it comes out it fits their narrative, the white cop is a hero. it is well within tariq's right to put out that tweet/facebook post etc. making a statement to see what people were saying before hand and how they feel now. mostly to the racists that were commenting the entire time. Tucker did not want to address that. But addressing that would've answered tuckers question. tucker didnt want a legit answer. He wanted to drag someone thru the mud he made up for the very purpose of saying "see BLM are terrorists who hate whites."
There is nothing you can do when you're on someone elses show and they wont allow you to answer the questions asked properly. they keep trying to deflect and turn you around when you're answering the questions. They will eventually cut you off or edit it out if you do answer properly. because they just want to get you to look a certain way. Which is why he should never go on fox news again. He made that last trip and that was more than enough.
But this is where Tariq the person is going to get in trouble. because he has money to get. and going on these shows makes him more relevant and more professional, raising his price tag. So i get it. But you can't do both. You can't go on shows that wont allow you to tell the truth and be seen as a truth teller. they will paint you incorrectly to the masses. It will eventually backfire on your aim to get more money in the long run.
