There was school shootings in the news in urban schools every night in the 90s and early 2000s..it was clear even back then that the media (whites) took it very personally and twisted and contorted trying to distinguish this from the other Black and brown school shootings they loved reporting on. They damn near tried to suggest it wasn't a premeditated crime. I think i remember Jay-Z getting blasted for donating to columbine.

I remember a couple white boys wore trench coats the next day

We would joke about dudes wearing trenchcoats. But them trenchcoat white boys did have some cats a lil nervous cuz you never know with them

I dont remember columbine but I remember several years after it happened some dude was talking about shooting up our high school. I dont think people thought he was serious. Remember some dude went up to my friend and was like don't saying anything about it Thankfully nothing happened.

cause they were white, if a kid from another race did this than they would blame the kid and parents.

I remember watching this unfold live on msnbc after i had got home from school my freshman year of high school....

It just seemed surreal.

Its frightening these guys have inspired a generation of youngsters...that see these dudes as pariahs, martyrs, and heroes.

The columbine killers were just demented sick fukked up overprivileged racist white boys with no problems that just made everyone pay for their misery. I hope these crackers are rotting in hell if there is one.

with this and many more massacres in schools and god know's where else here in america..i wanted no more of this evil place.

I live in Denver bruh, this happened in Littleton which is in the southern suburbs, all white upper class and upper middle class. All cacz. Denver public schools are well mixed however , east side of Denver is majority black, montbello, east high, probably half white, half black.

I can't even recall a school shooting at any of the majority minority schools. Back in the 90s a kid from west high I think got killed on lunch break when he went to north high, schools always had beef... both majority Mexican high schools.

Found a gun in locker first day of school when I was a frshman. I graduated a yr before columbine... their original plan was to blow up the school and pick off kids as they fled. When the bombs failed they went in blazing.

Crazy the Newtown, Virginia Tech and Aurora massacres has surpised Columbine in casualties. shyts fukked up. Back in 99 I was in the 3rd grade.

I was 17 when it happened. shyt hit close to me because my choir teacher was not only a Columbine alum (Mexican), but his music teacher was one of those who got murdered . Dude was also his cross country coach. He dedicated our concerts to him and helped set up a fund to raise money for his family.

Interesting how he told me when he went there how much fukkery went down with the students , 15 Years prior. The school had a bad rep since then .

As for the drama that went down at other schools during the 90s Near me alone , Google "Lindhurst High School Shooting " and Cleveland elementary school shooting . The inner city schools of where I live in Sacramento had some schools that were like warzones in the mid nineties. I guess Columbine got so much attention because the rest of the Country thought that was the last place something like that would happen

In 99 I was 13 in middle school...

I remember this and then several school shootings in the next few years in San Diego

started the whole "lockdown" drill to go with earthquake, and fire drills...

Looking back at it it's crazy how the media deflects blame from these two teenage monsters. When I was 16/17 I KNEW what I was doing. But they tried so hard to blame Marilyn Manson music, violent video games, movies, the internet, etc.

Why not blame the fycking kids and their parents. They were making bombs in the garage and the parents didn't know...but it's Mortal Kombat's fault?
