Not suprised since they have been hinting at it all season now. The Colts are ready to win now though so they need to make sure they find the right guy who can succeed with the talent they have on this squad. There are lot of interesting names out there who could be intrigued by coaching Andrew Luck. Gruden Cowher (though longshots) Kelly etc. are all guys i could see being interested in coaching Indy.

I don't see it this way. Earlier in the season they fired their OC (Pep Hamilton) and that didn't change anything. Now they can Pagano.

Their problem is more then the coaching. They simply don't have the talent to win now. Luck (who I think is overrated), TY Hilton, then who else ? Hell, I can only name 1 defensive player (Vontae Davis). They do have the advantage of playing in a weak division, but a lot of the blame needs to rest on Grigson's shoulders for having bad drafts, and signing aging FA's (gore, Johnson).

I still think they are closer to contending then rebuilding with them having Luck at QB. With a franchise qb (and he is one of those) all you need is to fill the pieces around him in order to be a contender.
