What about Chris Rainey?

He pained out almost exactly how we all expected. Some thought that he would be able to be as dynamic as Percy but Percy was just SPECIAL and Rainey wasn't special. He was fast but Percy was fast, quick, AND had the size to take the punishment....when he stayed relatively "healthy".

Nah man I think we all thought the same thing. He was valuable at times when we went to him in 06 and then 07 him and Hernandez was :wow:.....and then he tore his ACL a MONTH before the 08 season and it was Big Boss time for em :mjcry:

-Dezmon Briscoe=watched him dominate a game(catch a couple bombs and return a punt for a TD) in one college game and thought he would be take the league by storm.don't think he really got a fair shake to show his stuff but didn't work out:usure:
After he caught them beats from the Morris twins by the towers on campus, life was spiraling downward for that cat

Phillip Buchanon, good start to his career then inconsistency

Shawn Springs had a really long career, but he was not the dominant player i thought hed be. same for Bryant McKinnie

Mo Claiborne

Dre Kirkpatrick

Amobi Okeye

on everything, I was just thinking about him last week. Dude was like 18-19 years old in the NFL, a top 15 pick, and didn't last long. Well he lasted like 5-6 season, but never lived up to the billing.

You know....this made me think of Gerard Warren and how he underachieved at Florida and in the pros. Him and Kenyetta Walker :beli:

they were beasts, i felt Warren went a bit high because of his position but Kenyetta was really good and should have at least been a solid RT.

i never liked Ryan Moore or Lance Leggett, but you can throw Lance's name in there among the recruiting busts. he was lazy

Amobi was Aaron Donald before AD, sturdy build, really young + good results in a meh conference. i guess it was the comp, or just didnt develop but he never did much for the Texans

Who was the kid that came in the class with the rest of the Northwestern kids and Playmaker let him rock the 47 then he snatched it back the following season
