Duncanville is majority black school right?

If so, make those cacs mad as fukk.

half black, half hispanic.

Duncanville is half Hispanic now. :dwillhuh:

Damn the demographics in that area has changed a lot in over 15 years.

Back in 1999-2000 Duncanville was half Black/half White.

i know.

for some reason a lot of d'ville alum work in dfw sports media.

According to the 2017 census estimates, the city of Duncanville is:

https://factfinder.census.gov/faces/nav/jsf/pages/community_facts.xhtml?src=bkmk
37.8% black (including biracials/mixed blacks)
25.4% non-Hispanic White
37.5% Latinos of any race

:wow:

bout time a blue collar part of dfw repped us in the championship game. next week will be tough tho. north shore's rb is the best prospect out of the state since adrian peterson.

That how it was back in the 80's and 90's.

It wasn't until Todd Dodge came with that gimmick shyt. That the untalented White schools started to takeover. :francis:

Back then it was all about talent. The most talented team always risen to the top back then.

The 1999 Garland team and 2000 Mesquite team were also cold.

They where both Half Black/Half White schools as well.

:why: I don't understand how Highland Park be winning big in the postseason with literally NO black players.

What did SLC do different to change the game? I always assume it was their spread offense that made the difference.

This

It were a lot of great DFW teams that didn't make it to State back then.

The Texas HS playoffs was harder back then.

That 98' Desoto team end up having 5 players that all at least played over 5 years in the NFL.

Lake Highland, Arlington Lamar, & Fort Worth Dunbar had some great teams that never made it to state.

Edit: Let me not forget about those Wilmer-Hutchins teams.

i saw them today. they had very good size on both sides of the ball. very disciplined and surprisingly tough. i actually respect the way they play. it helps that they have their kids in the same system from K-12. HP doesn't have many people moving in and out like that so the kids there are raised in their offensive/defensive systems.

hurry up spread. art briles brought it to stephensville first but dodge perfected it at SLC.
