A)Can anyone explain how Colin Powell is a c00n?
B)If the notion is people are to be judged by their worst moments and their worst moments only, then everyone fails the purity test and everyone is terrible including people favorite rappers. Thats the problem with progressive purity test super woke bullshyt. It erases any sense of rational thinking and simply zeros in on whatever moral failure the person had in their life.
Was Colin Powell someone who made mistakes? Absolutely. Every federal official is going to have bigl mistakes on their record to some degree. Even if those mistakes cost lives and that's very unfortunate. I doubt Colin was licking his chops at the chance to kill people. (Maybe with the exception of 9/11)
But to suggest that the other humane parts of his life don't exist, his values, his contributions, and the only thing that matters is his mistakes in the military, is literally looking at a mostly empty jar.
Colin was solid. He supported black empowerment based on speeches and interviews I've watched or read. His value set seemed pretty solid & moderate, and he was clearly influential and independent in his identity.
