I actually was listening this morning. He was saying that baseball is not a complex sport with a bunch of strategy to learn (from the player's perspective) and so its easier for a player who doesn't have English as a first language to thrive as compared to a sport like football. He mentioned the success of Asian baseball players too.

Ignoring got him off of ESPN tho. People didn't even petition for his job or catch him snorting coke off a hooker's t*ts. They just got tired of listening to his bullshyt. So he went to a smaller setting aimed at a more specific group. Seems like it worked to me.
