Exercise/Weight Loss
I'm now down to 225. It's funny when I started I was in a huge rush to lose weight as fast as I could because I wanted to hurry up and get it over with. After seeing results and knowing I'm doing what it takes to lose weight I'm not in a huge rush to get down to 170. I'll lose weight then chill for a few days let myself eat some extra calories here and there but then I'll focus for 3 or 4 days and restrict my diet. I also stopped doing intermittent fasting or trying to do fasted cardio. After doing some reading I realized all that shyt doesn't really matter unless you are try to cut very little weight and hold on to as much muscle as possible. I have a lot of body fat so I'm doing what works for me and not sweating the small stuff. I think that's a huge problem for people trying to lose weight. Weight loss is made out to be some game with all kinds of complicated rules. It's extremely simple you just have to find a way to make it work for you. I haven't been able to lift for the past 2 weeks cause the gym I work out at is being remodeled. I just run. I really want to lift though cause I was putting on some muscle and now I'm getting flabby. I was going to sign up at a gym but life got in the way and I don't have the 100 to sign up at a gym. Should be a week more and by then the gym will be done (I hope

Meal Prep
This was my first week doing meal prep. That shyt was a bytch. Way harder than I thought it would be. I went in unprepared and it cost me the whole day. My usual routine was to wake up and spend my whole morning cooking my food for the day. Last Sunday, after wasting another morning, I said fukk it and decided I'd try to prep all my meals for the week on Monday, my day off from work. Monday rolls around I get started around 1000. Breh, this shyt took me all day. I didnt finish till 8 at night. I wasn't even cooking anything hard
. It took me 10 hours to make 12 simple ass meals
. I baked my fish but I have to say tilapia for meal prep is
. Had the whole breakroom stinking like a yeast infection. If I do decide to do fish again I'm eating it at the beginning of the week. I didn't cook my breakfast cause it only takes me like 5 minutes to make (usually oatmeal+yogurt+fruit+egg on the side=500 calories). Still, it has saved me a bunch of time now, I'm also not washing dishes everyday or getting my kitchen dirty. First couple days I didn't even know what to do with all the free time I had. It was a lot of work but definitely worth the effort. Next week I'll be better prepared and I already have plans on what I'm going to cook. I might post pictures so people don't think I'm lying. This is a good site I found on reddit after

Other Stuff
I'm helping my younger brother lose weight too. I've been able to get him on board. He started at 398 and after a week of very loose dieting and 3 walks he came in at 392. 6 pounds. This is his second week and he's been good about the dieting guidelines we set for him. I'm trying to slowly ease him into dieting and eventually have him do it on his own. All I do is have him diet for 2 days Monday and Tuesday and then walk 4 times a week. That's the first two weeks. Next week he will diet Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday by himself. Mondays and Tuesdays I go over to my parents house and have been showing him how to count his calories and how to eat foods he likes reasonably. Trying to make foods he likes but healthier or finding ways to cut out calories without it ruining what we cook. This whole process is going to get harder as we go but hopefully 3 months in he'll be ready to commit to a stricter eating schedule.
Everything else has been good. Stuck with my job I don't really know what I want to do but next year I plan on going back to school as soon as my wife finishes her schooling. Anyway, thanks for reading. Later.
If anyone has meal prep suggestions that'd be cool or any tips for my brothers weight loss.
