Opelousas Massacre - Opelousas Massacre
This is the evil we have to endure while we grin and bear it.
I wrote an amazing short story. Its a fictional story but its set in a real time and a real place during a real event......... The black wall street massacre pictured here. Im afraid to show or tell anyone but i want/need the story told mainstream and i dont have the tools. Basically, you have a wakanda like community of black people living in isolated harmony in tulsa ohklahoma. Banks, schools, hospitals, etc. The town leader is a relative of booker T washington and is known for being a wise founding father of the community, his son Mansa is an an amazing lawyer and in the current setting he is about to marry a young beautiful and talented nurse Titi. The entire town is buzzing in anticipation of the event. Meanwhile the son Mansa is worried because he is dealing with a black person, a potential client, who just had an altercation with a white woman and is scared something bad is about to happen to him because this white woman has been harassing him, accusing him of rape but he dosent even know her and her brother is in law enforcement. He has been hiding from her but word gets out he is hiding with mansa. The white woman tries to get him illegally detained at the wedding rehearsal, accusing him of rape but the black congregation manage to physically ward of the woman and her army of white cops in a heroic stand, the entire community roseup turned out and sent them all packing.
on the day of the wedding the following week, the national guard destroys the entire city.
There are other subplots that all tie in including scenes at the Whitehouse, Titi's younger brother who escaped jail(wrongfully imprisoned but he was stealing from rich white folk) and was trying to come hide among his own with her up in Tulsa. He gets there right when the national guard start dropping bombs. The whole story is told in flashback mode from his perspective as he was one of the only few to survive.
