I saw him yesterday.
Chevy Chase?I think Donald he got a few n word jokes here and there. And I believe he used to be called all types of shyt while he was coming up (before 30rock) but he still fukk with them folks. So in a sense you can say him and ye switched. I think Glover is more protected than ye was.
He’s the safe negro... look at his connection to Tina Fey and NYU.
He was getting at women. I feel like he’s a troll.
Because it was an independent film and they know most people aren’t woke enough to decipher it. They also get a kick out of trolling us... basically they feel like we won’t be able to stop them. It’s there way of taunting us.Controlled opposition. Wow. Why did they allow Get Out to happen? Seems like that’d work against them. Did they flip him after with the award and contracts?
Yeah he's gotten alot of good looks. I think his talent would of took him places regardless, but that 30rock look was a blessing. Because when he first started rapping it was good awful. but I believe rapping was always his plan A.He’s the safe negro... look at his connection to Tina Fey and NYU.
Lettuce Discuss The Batteries In Tekashi69 Back: Elliot Grainge & Ari EmanuelI have to see that... I wonder if it’s the usual suspects.
So with him, Jordan Peele, etc, artists that appear "safe" early in their career but are starting to put out some more thought provoking messages in their later works, do you get a sense that maybe they were afraid to do this until they already secured a name OR is it in your opinion just artists cashing in on the black consciousness? He’s the safe negro... look at his connection to Tina Fey and NYU.
A combination of both. Many of them became conscious out of spite. Kanye was conscious from the jump and look what happened. Kanye made conscious music during the party era. I’d call that genuine. The others waited until it was popular. And Jordan Peele is half white. You can’t be a c@@n one day and Malcolm X the next. That’s straddling the fence and it’s the same thing people in this thread got on Kanye for.So with him, Jordan Peele, etc, artists that appear "safe" early in their career but are starting to put out some more thought provoking messages in their later works, do you get a sense that maybe they were afraid to do this until they already secured a name OR is it in your opinion just artists cashing in on the black consciousness?
There’s still time.Why wasn't Anthony Anderson a victim of the #metoo movement?
I haven’t.Ever met A$ap Rocky or Vince Staples?
I’ve heard a thing or 2...Na but my brother works in the industry and says dude is openly gay. I'd also be suspect about Tyler Perry's male choices in movies.
